- 2:2 honours degree (or non-UK equivalent) in any subject with evidence of critical thinking; relevant work experience may be considered
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Four-year bachelor special, honours or professional degree from a recognised university: final mark 60% is comparable to a UK 2:1 and 55% to a UK 2:2
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall, no band below 5.5, writing at least 6.0
