Account and website help

Choose a question to see the answer. Registration and login are available on mobile, tablet and desktop.

01How do I register for the learning portal?
Select Student Portal or open a free course and choose Start this free course. Select Create a free GEC account, enter your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters, then set up the required authenticator-app verification.
02How do I log in?
Choose Student Portal, enter your registered GEC email address and password, then enter the current six-digit code from your authenticator app. An unused recovery code can be used if your authenticator is temporarily unavailable.
03How do I reset my password?
Automated password reset is not yet available. Contact gec.limited@outlook.com from the email address registered to the account. Support will verify ownership before any reset. Never send your old password, authenticator code, setup key or recovery code.
04Why is my account temporarily locked?
Five unsuccessful password or authenticator attempts trigger a 15-minute security lock. Wait until the lock expires before trying again. Check that you are using the registered email address, the correct password, and that the time on the authenticator device is set automatically.
05Why does sign-in return me to the login screen?
Make sure necessary browser cookies are allowed and complete both the password and authenticator steps in the same browser. Then use secure sign out, close the browser and try once more. If it continues, include your device, browser and the page you were opening when you contact support—but never include a password or one-time code.
06Why is a course missing from my portal?
First confirm that you signed in with the same account used previously. Open the course catalogue, choose the course and select Start this free course to enrol. Your enrolled course and saved progress should then appear in the Student Portal.
07How do I log out?
Open the Student Portal and choose Sign out. This clears both GEC session cookies. If you use a shared device, also close the browser window.
08How do I get help with something else?
Use our Contact Us form or email gec.limited@outlook.com. Explain the page, what you expected and what happened. A screenshot can help, but remove private application details and never include passwords, recovery keys or security codes.

Stay secure

We will never ask for your password.

Do not send a password, one-time code, recovery key or full identity document through a support message. If you suspect account misuse, sign out on all accessible devices and contact GEC from the registered email address.
