Foundation in Management
A one-year foundation for students who do not yet meet degree entry requirements, leading on to a business or management degree at Cardiff Met. The programme develops strategy, organisations, leadership, decision-making and responsible management. It is designed to build the academic and subject foundations needed for later degree study.

Can I apply?
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Year 1 (3-year degree): good grades in Sri Lankan GCE A-levels, or good O-levels plus a recognised foundation course, or an HND / relevant diploma. Year 0 (4-year degree with foundation): equivalent of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English.
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall (standard) or equivalent
- English alternatives
- Sri Lankan GCE O-level English grade A, or Sri Lankan A-level English pass C (or 50%), may be accepted; medium-of-instruction from listed Sri Lankan institutions is also considered.
