Foundation Pathway
A nine-month foundation with core academic skills modules plus a specialist pathway in Business/Economics, Humanities, International Studies, Law or Psychology. Successful students progress to a Buckingham degree in the matching school, so foundation plus degree can take about three years.

- Academic
- 12 years of schooling with a good school-leaving qualification (e.g. A-levels DD or equivalent); work experience considered for mature applicants
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Three Sri Lankan GCE A-levels at grade B or better for bachelor's entry; Foundation level needs Sri Lankan GCE O-levels with A and B grades (minimum age 17)
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall, 5.5 in each component
