Cardiff Metropolitan University (Cardiff Met) is a modern university in the Welsh capital, with campuses at Llandaff and Cyncoed. It is known for business and management, sport and health sciences, art and design, and technology, and has a large international student community. Entry requirements.

Undergraduate: Year 1 (3-year degree): good grades in Sri Lankan GCE A-levels, or good O-levels plus a recognised foundation course, or an HND / relevant diploma. Year 0 (4-year degree with foundation): equivalent of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English.
Postgraduate: Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution in Sri Lanka or the UK: Bachelor Special degree with CGPA 2.7/4 or above, or a professional degree.
English: Sri Lankan GCE O-level English grade A, or Sri Lankan A-level English pass C (or 50%), may be accepted; medium-of-instruction from listed Sri Lankan institutions is also considered.

For 2026/27 international entrants: Undergraduate Scholarship £2,500, MBA Scholarship up to £4,000, Vice Chancellor Scholarship up to £3,500 for selected MA/MSc programmes (based on academic or work record), plus a full-fee payment discount.
