A modern university with its main campus in York and a second campus in London. The York campus teaches business, computing, law, psychology, health, education and the arts, while many of the postgraduate business, computing and public health courses popular with international students are taught only at the London campus. Most master's courses offer February and September starts.

International undergraduates at the York campus get a £1,000 first-year scholarship (not for one-year top-up degrees). For postgraduates the page points to external Chevening and Commonwealth scholarships plus alumni scholarships.
