International Foundation Programme
A preparatory programme for international students that develops academic knowledge, study skills and, where needed, English, for progression to undergraduate study at Kent. Students study on the Canterbury campus with full access to university facilities.

- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Sri Lankan GCE A Level with 3 subjects, assessed grade-for-grade against UK A Levels; foundation-year degrees typically need 3 A Level subjects at minimum grade S
- English (IELTS)
- Set per course: 'Good' level = 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each component (e.g. most BSc courses); 'Very Good' = 6.5 with 5.5 in each (e.g. LLB)
