BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
Covers mechanical design, materials, thermodynamics and manufacturing. A 4-year sandwich route is listed. The programme develops engineering science, design, modelling, materials and the development of safe practical solutions. At undergraduate level, the course develops subject knowledge progressively alongside practical, analytical and transferable skills.

- Cambridge GCE A Levels considered against each course's UCAS tariff (typically 96-112 points); HND holders may get advanced entry; students not meeting requirements can be considered for a foundation year

- O/L English grade C or above (within 5 years) accepted; recent Sri Lankan degree with English medium from approved universities (Colombo, Moratuwa, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kelaniya, Peradeniya, Open University) can also be accepted
