- Honours degree (minimum 2:2), a post-experience/professional qualification, or equivalent international qualifications.
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Four-year special/professional bachelor's degree with GPA 2.7/4 (or B), or three-year general degree with GPA 3.0/4 (or B).
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall for most subjects (6.5 for Law, Education, Psychology, HRM; 7.0 for health), normally no band below 5.5
