BSc Biomedical Science
Studies human biology, physiology and the science of disease with laboratory training. An optional placement year is available. The programme develops human biology, disease, diagnostics, laboratory methods and biomedical research. At undergraduate level, the course develops subject knowledge progressively alongside practical, analytical and transferable skills.

- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Sri Lankan A-levels considered as comparable to British A-levels; minimum of 3 A-levels for direct entry, grades vary by course (e.g. AAB-A*AA). Foundation year available via the University of Sheffield International College
- English (IELTS)
- 6.5 overall, minimum 6.0 in each component
- English alternatives
- An internationally recognised English qualification such as IELTS is required for all applicants
