- 2:2 honours degree in any discipline (or overseas equivalent); extensive relevant professional experience also considered
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Bachelor's degree: 2:1 = Second Upper / GPA 3.3 / 60%; 2:2 = Second Lower / GPA 3.0 / 55%. A Pass degree may qualify for a pre-master's course.
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall, 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking
