- Academic
- Minimum 2:2 honours degree in a related subject (non-standard applicants may be considered)
- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Completed Special/Hons/Professional degree (normally four years) or international degree (normally three years) from a recognised institution with minimum Grade B, 55%, 3.0 CGPA or 2:2 classification
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall, 5.5 in each component (standard requirement)
- English alternatives
- Sri Lankan A Level English Language minimum grade A accepted (for courses requiring IELTS 6.0+); SELT normally required otherwise. Maths (where needed): GCE O-level Mathematics grade C / 50%+
