- Sri Lankan qualifications
- Subject-specific A level requirements apply (e.g. BBC–ABB); students without direct-entry qualifications can take the International Foundation Year at Keele University International College.
- English (IELTS)
- 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each subtest (higher for some courses, e.g. Nursing)
- English alternatives
- Sri Lankan O Level English grade A/Distinction accepted for undergraduate entry; IELTS waived for PG applicants who completed a UK-awarded postgraduate degree in Sri Lanka within 2 years (or UK-awarded undergraduate degree within 5 years).
