Buckinghamshire New University

Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) is a career-focused modern university with its main campus in High Wycombe, about 30 minutes from central London and close to Heathrow. It is known for practical courses in areas such as nursing, aviation, computing and business. For Sri Lankan students

Entry requirements.

Undergraduate: Sri Lankan GCE A-levels equivalent to 88–128 UCAS tariff points depending on course (roughly CCS–ABB; Adult Nursing 112–136). Foundation year entry from 32–56 points. Year 3 advanced entry possible with a relevant HND at 55% or GPA 2.30.
Postgraduate: Bachelor's degree with at least 55% or GPA 2.30 from an ECCTIS-recognised university (2:2 equivalent = 55%, 2:1 = 60%).
English: Sri Lankan O/L English grade C/Credit accepted for foundation and undergraduate entry; grade B (within the last 10 years) for Masters. Medium of instruction letters considered case by case.

Scholarships

Vice Chancellor's International Student Scholarship: £1,500 off the first year for self-funded overseas undergraduates and £3,000 for postgraduates starting full-time taught degrees in 2026/27, with no application needed. An early payment discount is also offered.
